Site

TWYFORDS

The Twyfords Bathrooms factory was purchased freehold by SEEDA in March 2003. The site totals 18.5 acres/7.5 hectares. SEEDA has completed a demolition programme clearing the site of all its existing industrial buildings. The main site (12.8 acres/5.1 hectares) is zoned for industrial purposes with the adjacent 5.7acres/2.3 hectares site being re-allocated in the local plan (adopted July 2000) for residential purposes.

First Avenue

FIRST AVENUE

Two light industrial sites in First Avenue, Rushenden , were purchased freehold by SEEDA in December 2003. The site totals 1.5 acres/0.6 hectares. SEEDA has completed a demolition programme clearing the site of most of its existing industrial buildings. The site is located in the current local plan for residential purposes.

Jewsons

JEWSONS

The Former Jewsons site along Rushenden Road was purchased freehold by SEEDA in February 2006. The site totals 1.58 acres/0.64 hectares. The site and buildings will be put to "Community Use" in the short
